It’s obvious that the union has been making an endless efforts to resue the Nigerian Universities from the WOE form it’s,to be of the GOOD standard it’s expected to be by calling the attention of the government to do the needful.
It’s also necessary of the union to know that; the means of Strike they chose in calling the attention of the government DO not affect the government in anyway, that’s why the government find it hard to pay attentions to their calls. Likewise, the students the union claimed they were fighting for are being affected the most. Then, which is which?
The union should look for another means of calling the attention of the government other than STRIKE, if truely their fights was for the students. Because It seems not to make sense of the union to continue to fight for students in a way that affect the students, without any positive outcomes.
ASUU should suspend their fight for students if they couldn’t find other means of calling the government’s attention aside of strike. It will be of more preferable for the students to spend the exact year they are expected to spend in the school in it woe form than to be at home in the name of strike that add an additional years to their staying in school without any improvement of the school by the government.
