Buhari advocates for advanced and unadulterated global education on Islam

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged for the spread of genuine knowledge of Islam to be the foremost responsibility for Muslims globally. The President made this remark during a recent visit to the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilisation in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

He lauded the Saudi Arabian government for utilizing modern technology in conveying the fundamental tenets of Islam and its excellent teachings. President Buhari expressed the need for the Muslim community to adopt a futuristic education system that delivers knowledge and a new way of comprehending the religion’s essence.

He further explained that it was crucial to have a more accurate understanding of the religion that departs from false perceptions and teachings to promote global peace, harmony, and progress.

The President commended the Saudi Arabian government’s efforts to bring the world to the roots of Islamic civilization, indicating that a more coordinated international effort was necessary. The museum aims to preserve and present Islam in its authentic and unblemished form, including its noble teachings of love, justice, mercy, peace, and moderation through cultural exhibitions.

President Buhari described the museum as a beautiful combination of building aesthetics and meaning’s majesty. He emphasized that the facility aims to provide a comprehensive cultural overview of the Prophet’s admirable characteristics, moral virtues, and adaptable teachings using the latest and most innovative presentation tools based on scientific research.
