The leading governorship aspirant for the November 6 election, Senator Uche Ekwunife has called for effective distribution of Covid-19 vaccines delivered to the government of Anambra state. She said that frontline health workers should be among the early beneficiaries of the vaccination process.
Ex say Ekwunife said this on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Adazi-Nnukwu during the burial of Hon Ebele Ejiofor’s mother. Hon Ejiofor is the member representing Anaocha constituency I in the state house of assembly.
Ekwunife noted that traditional and religious institutions have the potentials to support effective distribution of the vaccines. She urged the state government to consider utilizing these institutions to ensure that the vaccines are evenly distributed.
Ekwunife admonished Anambrarians to adhere to the precautionary measures of Covid-19. She stated that Covid-19 is Nreal, lauding the state government for flagging off the vaccination process without delay.
Concluding, Senator Ekwunife expressed optimism that the vaccination process will curb the spread of the deadly disease and assured the gathering that from the assurances of government at all levels, no citizen of the state will be left out of the vaccination process.
