It was a moment of truth at the APGA Retreat and Book Lunch held at the Finotel Hotel Awka on 12th September 2018.
The Retreat was organised by the APGA leadership for all the party aspirants with a book lunch on the trials and triumphs of the party since 2004.
The review of the book gave the Distinguished senator Victor Umeh who has been at centre of all the crisis in APGA the opportunity to make public some events that happened behind the scenes in APGA.
When Chief Umeh was speaking, he told Prof Charles Soludo who was the chairman of the occasion a shocking intrigues that led to his disqualification in 2013.
Speaking at the retreat, Chief Umeh told the audience that Prof Soludo was disqualified by APGA from contesting the 2013 Anambra state governorship election because Bianca came out from the Aso Villa and told the party leaders that the presidency does not want Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo to fly the party’s flag.
Umeh said this in the presence of Bianca Ojukwu, Soludo, gov Obiano, Ozonkpu Victor Oye and over 1000 APGA aspirants at the venue.
While Umeh was revealing the role played by Bianca to get Soludo disqualified, the beauty queen interjected and tried to discredit his account but the fearless senator was resolute, he quickly reminded, “Bianca, you were the one we sent to Villa to find out the position of the presidency on APGA and you came out to inform us that the presidency said, they do not want Soludo to fly our flag.”
At this point Bianca became speechless and the whole hall was quiet as Soludo bent down and shook his head repeatedly.
Senator Umeh therefore said that all the decisions he took as APGA national chairman was for the best interest of the party and not to witchhunt anyone including Prof Soludo.
AIF Media therefore advises Chief Umeh to write a memior on APGA to enable the party members know who did what against and for the party.

This was originally published in AIF Media on 13th September, 2018.
