The governor of Ebonyi state, Engr Dave Umahi is heading to APC. AIF Media gathered that in a meeting yesterday with some members of the PDP National Working Committee, NWC, the Ebonyi state governor made it clear that he was convinced the party has no 2023 agenda for the South East.
Umahi made this known in a meeting led by the national chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus. The members of the PDP NWC, at the meeting tried in vain to convince the governor not to abandon the party. But he reassured them that he can only stay in the PDP if the party could make a pronouncement that it would zone the Presidency to the south east zone.
Gov Umahi has shown leadership by this threat to leave PDP if 2023 presidency is not zoned to southeast. We shall support him on this decision.
It is a warning to PDP. We shall collpase PDP in igboland and ostracize anyone who will sabotage igbo 2023 presidency.
It is Igbo presidency in 2023 or nothing. Thank you Gov Umahi for sounding this warning. All PDP governors and leaders in igboland should issue same warning to the PDP. Uche Secondus should be forced to stop playing with our intelligence.
