Senator representing Anambra South and the national leader of YPP, Senator (Dr.) Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, assured Nigerians that he will continue to influence more socioeconomic and political transformation using the instruments of good legislation in the 9th Senate. Senator Ubah made the statement in an event organized by the “Executives, landlords and tenants” of the popular Greenfield Estate in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State.

The event was marked to honor and celebrate the numerous achievements of the Distinguished Senator, ranging from his legislative interventions, initiated bills and motions, and other federal agencies being attracted to his constituency, and most especially, his interventions for Ndi-Igbo businesses in Lagos State.
Thanking the Prince of the Senate for honoring the Estate invitation, the Chairman of the Estate, Chief Nnanna Achiugo (Igwurube), urged Senator Ubah to be ready to serve his people in greater capacity come 2021, he reminded him that what Anambra as a state needs for rapid growth and overwhelming development is a man from a commercial sector (business man) in which he has recorded overwhelming successes. He further assured the Senator of the Estate’s support and thanked him again for his numerous legislative interventions in Lagos.
Responding, Senator Ubah expressed his utmost satisfaction for the warm reception and assured them of his desire to drive a greater and transformed economy in Anambra South Senatorial District, Anambra State and South East in general through quality legislation, exemplary leadership and grassroot oriented services. He further noted that as a grassroot politician and a businessman, he understands the challenges, hopes and aspirations of his people and that he can’t wait to impact more positively on the lives of ndi-Anambra using the “seal of government” as he is determined to protect, sustain and improve ndi-Igbo opportunities in trade, commerce & industrialization. He also assured them that Anambra under his watch shall witness more emancipation of the people, open door revolution and people’s oriented services.
