Is Okezie Ikpeazu against Development?

While President Muhammadu Buhari is fixing the errors perpetuated by PDP government and has ordered the state governors to conduct local government elections (the essence is to put an end to the endemic corruption taking place at local government level), some unrepentant elements are busy thwarting this effort with their incessant hiring/firing of TC Chairmen.

They hire political jobbers whose loyalty to their malicious interest is unquestionable and fire dynamic individuals whose quest for development is commendable.

Are they anathema of development?

In line with the President’s directives that Members of the National Assembly should live up to their expectations by embarking on laudable constituency projects, Hon Barr Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, the Deputy Chief Whip House Of Representatives and Member Representing Isuikwuato /Umunneochi Federal was on ground to commission some of her constituency projects.

Courtesy demands that the benefactor’s Local Government Chairman should be on ground. Unfortunately, the Transition Committee Chairman Of Umunneochi LGA Engr Matthew Ibeh was sacked for being present and the Governor in return nominated Barr Eze Chikamnayo the Former Spokesman to the Deputy Chief Whip to replace Barr Ibeh.

Is attending a federal function now a taboo?

Recall on September 27,2019 the then TC Chairman of Isuikwuato LGA Hon Chima Agbaeze started the construction of an ultra modern Motor Park which the Governor Laid the foundation, few months down the line the TC Chair was sacked, till this moment the project has remained in that start up level.

My Governor, kindly do the needful to Conduct the Local Government Election and watch our dear state move to the next level or you resign.
