Joe Martin Uzodike Hosts Ekwunife

The former Commissioner for Information, culture and tourism, Anambra State, Chief Joe Martin Uzodike on Monday, May 10, 2021, hosted Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) at his country home in Awka-Etiti.

The former commissioner who is popularly known as Dike-Udo, received Senator Ekwunife and members of her campaign team, describing the Senator as a governorship aspirant whose antecedents and track record are not only exemplifying but glaring to all and sundry.

Aka na eme eze as he is fondly called appreciated Ekwunife for projecting the party through her excellent and all inclusive representation in the Senate.

While acknowledging Ekwunife as a politician who can be trusted to deliver when it matters, Uzodike reiterated the need for the PDP to present a candidate who is acceptable to the generality of Ndi Anambra.

On her part, the Igbo-Ukwu born Senator lauded Chief Uzodike who is also a respected stakeholder of the Peoples Democratic Party for his unwavering commitment towards the growth and development of the party in the state. She described him as a long time friend and ally, expressing confidence that the former commissioner will partner with her as she seeks to end the perennial absence of the party from power in the state.

The visit to Chief Uzodike was part of Senator Ekwunife’s efforts to interface with critical stakeholders of the party ahead of the June 26 party primary.
