The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) has donated 40KVA Generator to the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone Branch of Anambra Hotel Owners Association.
The handover of the generator was done on Tuesday, 8th December, 2020 when the Anambra Central Zonal Project Monitoring committee led by Lady Henrietta Agbata visited the Hoteliers at Tracy Hotels Awka.
Receiving the Generator on behalf of the association, Chief Dilim Okafor, the Chairman of the Association and Managing Director Tracy Hotels Awka described the Senator’s gesture as heart warming. He noted that the gesture is a reflection of Senator Ekwunife’s commitment towards the welfare of her constituents. Speaking further, Chief Okafor stated that the association will continue to support the Senator as she strives to impact on the lives of the people of the State. He prayed God to reward her abundantly and grant her success in all her endeavors.
Speaking during the handover, the leader of the Project team, Lady Henrietta Agbata noted that the donation is borne out of Senator Ekwunife’s resolve to support private businesses in the State. She recalled that few weeks ago, the Federal Lawmaker in her commitment to addressing the yearnings of her constituents, donated 3 Industrial Irons to a fashion and Textile Design Company In Awka,
Speaking further, Lady Agbata called on the members of the association to give the Senator all the support she needs to continue her good works. She assured them that the Senator remains deeply committed to the developmental growth of the Senatorial District and beyond.
Also notably present include, Mr Taiwo Ogusola, Vice Chairman Anambra Hotel Owners Association, Obiora Obuekwe, Treasurer Anambra Hotel Owners Association and MD King David Hotel, Charles Emefu, Chairman Nnewi North Hotel Association, Chief Obi Udogu, Director Finotel Hotel Agu Awka, Patrick Nnalue, Pro Anambra State Hotel Association, Chief Emenike Ebede, MD Lakepoint Resort and Gardens, Mmaduabuji Ozoemena, Welfare Coordinator Anambra North Hotel Association, Eddie Brown Iruogu, Member Anambra State Hotel Association and others.
Equally present were other members of the delegation, PDP ward executives and some Coordinators of Senator Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization.
