PDP BoT Says Talks With Gov Wike Inconclusive

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared Tuesday’s closed-door meeting with Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike inconclusive.

The Acting Chairman of the BoT, Adolphus Wabara, however, said the seven-member BoT, who met with the Governor at the Government House, Port Harcourt, achieved some progress.

Speaking after about five hours of discussion, Wabara said: “We have not concluded. Making peace is difficult. But we have heard from his side. The family remains one. We shall achieve peace very soon.”
