Peter Obi Adviser Withdraws book titled “Anambra: From the Sublime to the Ridiculous”

In eight years of ex- Gov. Willie Obiano’s Government, propaganda was the order of the day. His predecessor was a major target of that propaganda. If they wanted to talk about security, they would say, “before 2014…”  Even the money handed over to them was denied.

They sponsored “Inconsistency of a Man” and many other videos which they shared freely. With billions at their disposal, they conveniently heaped all manner of charges on us and we struggled to put the records straight.

I personally was their victim. You may not be aware, but over 10 times, I was the subject of commentaries on ABS.  The e-rats made me the butt of their dinner jollity!

Because of the foregoing, I decided to write a farewell book which was released on the 17th of March. My intention was simply to put the record straight and correct the lies that punctuated their eight years in Awka.

Knowing they would say that Mr. Peter Obi was behind it, I issued a caveat in the preliminary page of the book thus:  “Readers are respectfully forewarned that this publication – in conception and execution – is my work in its entirety.  It is my further effort to draw attention to the state of affairs in our homeland under the rudderless reign of the former Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, the self-styled Duke and potentate.”

In truth, Mr. Peter Obi was not aware of the publication until it came out. Knowing he would discourage it, I kept him completely out of it.

Now the book is out, he has called to request I stop it from circulation. He has not read it; it was probably out of some reactions he got from some people, who may have only seen the cover, simply intended to reflect the title. We argued, but he insisted it should not be circulated. “ I heard Odera and Odumodu Gbuluagu  wrote the forewords. And he queried: who is Odumodu Gbuluagu?”

Being a man I rarely say no to, I hereby stop all planned circulation of the book until further …  I crave the indulgence of those that have already sent money for the book, kindly send your account numbers so that we return your money to you.
