The 2021 governorship aspirants in Anambra state on all political parties except those who are contesting under the ruling party are consulting on how they can stop the outgoing govt of APGA from its plan to sale off assets belonging to the state.
AIF Media had reported that the outgoing APGA govt in an advertisment placed on Vanguard Newspaper yesterday, January 12 planned to sale the properties in Enugu state.
While that publication was generating reactions from ndi Anambra, Mazi Odera who also operates as Apga Alaigbo broke another news that gov Obiano had concluded plans to sale off the Commissioners’ quarters at Awka.
Mazi Odera alleged that the outgoing governor is selling the Commissioners’quarters at the cost of 25 million naira each. He argued that the Commissioners’quarters can not be sold at such lower price, if there is any need to sell it.
However, these exposures are beginning to worry the governorship aspirants who are fighting to succeed the governor.
Some of the governorship aspirants said they can’t sit by and watch the outgoing governor sale off all the assets belonging to the state. They are worried that the APGA govt which has about a year in the office is selling state owned assets in both Enugu and Awka.
AIF Media learned that the Aspirants would meet at an agreed date to issue a joint press statement asking those who are planning to buy the properties to stop forthwith as any of them who wins the governorship election will revoke such sales.
AIF Media will continue to update the public on this trending issues.
