The party APGA under the leadership of Sir Victor Umeh disqualified Soludo claiming that he was under the investigation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
In 2013, Senator Victor Umeh was the national chairman of APGA. He was holding the ace. He subdued Gov Obi and was totally in charge of the party.
The fate of APGA aspirants were in his hands. He singlehandedly determined who picks ticket.
Umeh disqualified Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo from contesting the 2013 governorship primaries of APGA. Not only that Umeh disqualified Prof Soludo, he told the press that Soludo was a risk candidate.
Soludo went to court to challenge his disqualification and lost out.
Today, the table has turned.
Prof Soludo is now the National Leader of APGA by virtue of his election as the APGA governor in Anambra state.
He will determine the fate of Umeh in 2023 Anambra central senatorial zone election.
This is possibly the reason, Ohamadike who has never contested APGA primaries is now running helter skelter buying up endorsements from political jobbers.
Truly, uwa na eme ntunghari.
