APGA Politicians mostly members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra have turned their back on the online expression of interest form released by the incoming governor of the State Professor CC Soludo for those who wish to work in his administration to indicate via online.
Investigation by AIF Media revealed that politicians of APGA rejected the online method of expression on the ground that the governor elect did not consult them and he should have known and identify or even groom the kind of people he would like to work with ahead of time as someone who wants to be governor.
According to a chieftain of APGA who spoke to AIF Media on the condition of anonymity for fear of being victimized, Soludo’s online method of selecting those to work in his administration is not acceptable because it doesn’t justify his preparedness to be governor.
“It shows that he doesn’t know the people much. He doesn’t know the kind of people he can use to perfectly implement his manifesto and he wants people from the moon to give him ideas on what he is going to do at the government house?” he added
The party chieftain who queried Soludo to tell Ndi Anambra if he filled online form before former President Obasanjo gave him appointment as Economic Adviser fumed that Soludo did not consult with the leaders of APGA to know the position of the party on the online job expression.
He recalled with dismay that Soludo shut the door for party faithful shortly after he was declared winner of the govermorship election and didn’t care to discuss his plans for transition and formation of his administration with the party faithful.
He explained ,”The Governor Elect shut the door shortly after he was declared winner and told us that he doesn’t want to see anybody. After that he announced his bogus transition committee. The next thing he did was to release online application form.
“Let me ask one question. Did he secure votes that made him government from online device? I mobilized votes for him physically in my ward and in my local government, so why should I express my interest online. During campaign he was accessible to me but he didn’t ask people to come in through online to vote?
