Let me update you on the happenings in PDP Anambra state. Last night we published a report purportedly from the PDP appeal panel in which Chief Chris Uba and Hon Obinna Emenaka were purportedly disqualified from contesting the National Assembly primary in their respective constituencies.
About midnight yesterday, we got calls from some PDP leaders from Anambra state who alerted us that the report we published was doctored and not the true reflection of the decisions of the Appeal Panel that reviewed the report of the screening committee.
However, those who reached us sent us this report duly signed and stamped by Chairman and a member of the committee.
From this report we found out that the panel was made up of 3 members. Namely:
1. Dr Alfred Isename as chairman.
2. Hon Barr Imo Williams as Secretary
3. Engr Okpara Ahamefula as member.
In this latest report, it was duly signed by the Chairman, Dr Isename and the other member of the panel, Engr Ahamefula. However, the secretary, Barr Imo Williams did not sign the report.
We are not sure if the secretary of the panel was unavoidable absent or that he refused to sign the report.
In this report which looks more authentic the following persons were DISQUALIFIED by the Appeal Panel.

House of Reps
1. Dr Chira Obiora Uzochukwu
