- My dear fellow Nigerian Youths as we all know that the Presidential Primary Elections of the main opposition Party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) have come and gone with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the PDP Presidential Candidate and Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the APC Presidential Candidate.

It is obvious that these two political parties have proven to us that they have nothing to offer to us rather what they are after is to enrich their members at the detriment of us. It is also obvious that these two political parties don’t have the interest of we the youths of this country at heart because that is why they decided to give their Presidential Tickets to two known Ancestors who are by right supposed to be in political oblivion by now.

In 1999, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) took control of this country at the centre and ruled from 1999 to 2015 without moving Nigeria away from Third World Country status to either a developing country or second world country. PDP, had the chance of making Nigeria great just like UAE or the Asian Tigers but it failed instead it allowed it’s political office holders to loot Nigeria and Nigerians of their commonwealth to enrich themselves. During it’s reign as the ruling party, oil price in the international market was above $100 per barrel and there were a lot debts we were asked never to pay back again but despite all the prosperities, PDP leaders due to selfishness looted our commonwealths with impunity.

In 2015, the All Progressive Congress (APC) defeated PDP and promised to turn things around for the betterment of all and sundry. But unfortunately rather than turning things around, they kept on blaming PDP from 2015 till date. Since APC came into power it has so divided Nigeria in such a way that one particular region of the country produced the President, the Senate President, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Heads of all the Security Agencies including the paramilitaries. The Nigeria and Nigerians have not been the same since All Progressive Congress came into power. It has been from one problem to a bigger problem such as insecurity, poverty, economic hardship, hunger, unemployment, high inflation and all kinds of criminalities. Today, Nigeria is the capital of poverty in the whole wide world.

My fellow Nigerian Youths in 2023, we must make Nigeria to work. The future and destiny of this country is in our hands. It is either we break it or we make it. It is time to give another party with a younger, bright, smart, intelligent, visionary, courageous, bold, fearless competent and experienced Candidate a chance. It is time to let them know that we the Nigerian Youths make up about 60% of voters in Nigeria. It is time to align with a Candidate who has something to offer than a Candidate who is too old and sick. It is time to stand with Peter Obi who is the only Candidate who has proven to us irrespective of our ethnic backgrounds that he is fit and ready to rescue and fix Nigeria so that we will have Nigeria of our dreams and take it back. It is time to identify ourselves with LABOUR PARTY, be it’s structure nationwide and give it all the necessary support because by so doing our collective Labour will never be in vain.

Permanent Voters Card. My dear fellow Nigerian Youths, let’s do everything within our power to register and have our PVCs no matter the sacrifice we might put up. Our PVCs are the only electoral, democratic, legal and constitutional weapon we can use to break or make Nigeria. So I’m pleading with you to go get your PVC today and get ready for the biggest Social Movement cum Political Revolution in the history of the world via the Ballot Paper come 2023. We must shock them.
