Death of CSO, Olowo: Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Ejidike condoles Emir of Ilorin, Gambari

The Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike,J.P has condoled the Emir of Ilorin Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR over the death of his Chief Security Officer, ASP Adebayo Olowoyo whose demise was described as a rude shock.

Chief Ejidike who paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR in his palace on Wednesday said the late police officer was a honest and committed personality who carried out his assignments with high sense of responsibility.

The sports philanthropist said: “It is with a heavy and contrite heart that I condole with your Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR on the demise of your Orderly, ASP ADEDAYO OLOWOYO, a gallant, active and highly dedicated police officer whose gallantry and godly relationship with people will be missed forever. Indeed, the news of his death was a rude shock to the Office of the Nigeria Pillar of Sports.”

Olowo as fondly called in the words of Ejidike,” was a very cheerful officer , a lover of Sports and whose interest was to contribute meaningfully to the palace and the Ilorin Emirate in particular. He had regarded himself as part and parcel of the palace. We will greatly missed him.”

He prayed God to uphold the Emir of Ilorin, and the family of Olowo as rest in the bossom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ejidike also prayed that the Emir of Ilorin live long as a highly respected royal father and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs.

The Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike was accompanied by the Chairman, Office of the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Prince Olayioye Shola Ajide and other sports stakeholders.
