Eid- Fitir : Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Ejidike greets Muslim faithfuls

As Muslims all over the world celebrate Ramadan Mubarak, the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, JP who doubles as the National patron Nigeria Football supporters club has sent congratulatory message admonishing them to uphold the lessons of Ramadan.

Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, who described the holy month of Ramadan as repentance and restitution month sounded that this country would be better if only we continued in holiness and maintained the attitudes displayed during fasting.

He said: “Islam is peace, Islam is love; therefore, we should continue to conduct ourselves in the same manner even after Ramadan. It is highly imperative to uphold the teachings of Ramadan even beyond the holy month. We should live life of holiness and peace with the people around us. ”

The sports philanthropist added that in Nigeria, if only we eschew bitterness and follow tenacious teachings of our religions, this nation will progress because no religion teaches or encourages violence.

“May Allah shower all His blessings upon everyone in this holy month. May Allah bless you with an abundance of happiness on earth and guide you towards Jannah. May Allah give us all the happiness and success and guide you to the right path.” Ejidike prayed.

Ejidike saluted : Ramadan Mubarak to you and your family. May Allah grant your prayers and replace your worries with happiness and prosperity. I wish that the holy spirit of Ramadan enlightens our souls and guides us to our deen. Ramadan Mubarak.”
