Former Minister of Works and Housing, Adeseye Ogunlewe, has expressed confidence that the screening process for President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nominees, set to commence on Monday, will be smooth.
Ogunlewe believes that former governors and ex-legislators among the nominees will face expedited clearance due to their experience.
He also noted that those with links to the ruling party and security agencies should encounter minimal challenges during the screening.
Ogunlewe emphasized the importance of adhering to the party’s manifesto and assured that the Senate leadership and screening panel would have prior knowledge of the nominees’ portfolios, making the process efficient and seamless.
