Lagos Pastor Sent to Kirikiri Prison for Allegedly Raping Church Members

Daniel Oluwafeyiropo, a Lagos-based pastor, has been sent to Kirikiri Correctional Centre by the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court for allegedly raping two of his church members.

Popularly known as Bishop Feyi, the founder of the “I Reign Christian Ministry” was remanded until he met the conditions for his bail.

The judge set bail at N20 million with two sureties in the same amount. One of the sureties must own a property with a value sufficient to cover the bail amount. The defendant must deposit his international passport with the court’s chief registrar and hasten the case’s hearing.

The accused allegedly committed the offenses in June 2020 at Ikota Villa Estate in Lekki, Lagos. The alleged offence violated Sections 260 (2) of the Lagos State Criminal Laws of 2015. The case is adjourned until May 9 for trial.
