Ogwuikpele-Ossamala Road: One Of The Tragedies Of Gov. Obiano’s 8 Years

By Valentine Obieyem

Mr. Peter Obi was so much committed to the Ogbaru-Atani-Akili oziza-Ochuche-ogwuikpele- Ossamala road, which crisscross so many towns, joining Anambra state to Rivers state.

I have heard Gov. Obiano say that he had completed all inherited roads. Today, as I joined the former Political Adviser to Mr. Peter Obi to represent our boss at the burial of Hon. Afam Ogene’s  mother (Astute Journslist and former member of the House of Representatives), I noticed that  Obiano is yet to add an inch to the road. It remains where Obi left it: Osamala town.

Is it part of the over 1000 kilometers of road they claimed to have completed?

Does Obiano realize that his tenure ends in less than two weeks?

May God grant Prof. Charles Soludo the wisdom to clean the mess of the last 8 years and start, in a manner of speaking, from 2014 almost anew.

Without 75 billion Naira to inherit, compounded by over 500 Billion Naira cumulative debt, it will not be easy for Soludo, but I assure him of our support for the sake of the progress of the state.
