Sanwo-Olu Urges Lagosians to Reflect on Unity and Peace This Easter

In observance of Good Friday, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has urged citizens to reflect on the sacrifices and selflessness of Jesus Christ, while also emphasizing their collective responsibility to protect themselves and loved ones.

The governor made this known in a message posted on his Twitter handle on Friday, where he expressed his heartfelt wishes to Lagosians and their families.

According to him, Jesus Christ’s immense love for humanity was demonstrated through his selfless act of giving up his life on the cross for the sins of the world. He also stressed the importance of serving with humility and compassion, putting others before oneself, and striving to create a better world for all.

Governor Sanwo-Olu further urged citizens to be mindful of their collective responsibility to protect themselves and their loved ones, show kindness and consideration to those around them, and hold fast to their faith and hope in the face of adversity.

He concluded by wishing all Lagosians a blessed and peaceful Good Friday on behalf of the Lagos State Government, while also praying for God’s blessings on Lagos State and Nigeria.
