See Why WapTV is switching channel on GOtv

Nigeria’s leading family entertainment channel, WapTV, will change its location on GOtv decoders from Channel 102 to Channel 129 starting Wednesday, April 19.

The channel number change is part of GOtv’s efforts to reorganize all channels based on their genres and content, resulting in an improved navigation and channel discovery experience for subscribers.

Managing Director of WapTV, Wole Adenuga, expressed support for the decision and stated that the channel is implementing strategic measures to notify its millions of viewers about the change.

Launched in 2012, WapTV is a 24-hour channel showcasing top TV dramas, comedy series, and Nigerian movies in English, Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa.
