Abig Nwankwo Foundation Brings Christmas Relief to Widows, Indigent in Okija

The Abig Nwankwo Foundation has extended Christmas relief to widows, widowers, and indigent residents of in Okija Community, Anambra State.

The outreach, held on December 24, 2025, involved the distribution of bags of rice, cartons of noodles, tomatoes, gallons of groundnut oil, alongside cash support, aimed at cushioning the effects of the festive season on vulnerable households.

Speaking during the exercise, Ichie Abig Nwankwo (Owelle Okija) said the foundation remains committed to people-centred interventions that promote dignity, inclusion, and shared prosperity, especially at critical periods such as Christmas.

President General of Umuohi community, Sir Uche Nnubia, commended the initiative, describing Ichie Abig Nwankwo as a dependable philanthropist whose consistent gestures have continued to uplift the community.

Also reacting, Dr Frank Igbojindu (PhD), Group Managing Director of Akpoazaa Group and Founder of Akpoazaa Foundation, noted that the vision of the Abig Nwankwo Foundation aligns with credible, impact-driven philanthropy, adding that the foundation has remained consistent since inception.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the foundation, offering prayers for its leadership and describing the support as timely and reassuring.
