Hon Green Dagogo Wins Rivers West Senatorial District SDP Ticket

Hon Warisenibo Dagogo Green has been declared the winner of the Social Democratic Party’s Ticket for Rivers West Senatorial District Seat.

Green was declared the winner by the Returning Officer at the primary election which was conducted at SDP’s State Secretariat, Port Harcourt.

He pulled a total of 35 votes out of 35 to clinch the party’s ticket.

The primary election monitored by the Department of State Service (DSS), Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), and other independent observers was declared as free, fair, and credible without any rancor.

A delighted Hon Green, in his acceptance speech, disclosed that his decision to contest was drawn from the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

He promised to ensure a responsive and responsible representation.

Also, he re-affirmed his commitment to serve the people stating that his focus will be to educate the people and provide succour for women, children, and the less privileged.

On his choice of party, Green noted that he joined SDP because he can resonate with the ideology of the party.
