Gov Soludo’s Wife Says Her Husband’s Administration Is Building Youth-led Legacies

Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Nonye Soludo says the administration of her husband, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, is leading a youth-based reform that aims to make Anambra youths important voices in present and future governance.

Mrs Soludo who stated this in Awka, emphasized that youths possess the best potential to transform any society, explaining that Anambra youths in particular form a crucial number in the quest for a livable and prosperous state.

She noted that her husband’s administration has incorporated purposeful youth-driven policies and brought young people closer to decision-making round tables, thereby arming them with a better focus on the kind of Anambra State that tomorrow’s generation would want to exist in.

The governor’s wife stated that the appointment of youths to head key public units in the present administration, is a clear demonstration of strong faith in what they possess, including their leadership and management skills and abilities.

Mrs Soludo further stated that with today’s youths comparatively adept at changing scientific, technological and management systems, there is a whole lot they can offer to progressive governance, like the one currently operating in Anambra State.

She also noted that the present government in the state is also harnessing the potential of women, a response to the dominant patriarchal system of governance.
