Ogbaru Boat Mishap: Mrs Soludo Condoles With Families Affected

Anambra Governor’s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo has described the recent boat mishap which claimed many lives in Ogbaru Local Government Area as shocking and heartbreaking.

Mrs Soludo who stated this in a statement released in Awka, said that the horrible incident coming at a time when the state is waging war against floods which have submerged some parts of the state, aggravates the pains that the natural disaster has already brought.

The governor’s wife while expressing shock at the boat incident, said that it hurts more knowing that women and children are involved.

She said that while the government is making frantic search and rescue efforts, ndi Anambra must stick together as a unit and not allow temporary hard times to influence their tradition of love and kinsmenship.

Mrs Soludo who sympathized with Ogbaru people and particularly families affected by the sad event, prayed God to grant eternal rest to those that lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
