Chief Emma Nwachukwu an aspirant who contested APGA primaries for Anambra South Senatorial District has filed the for a joinder in a case pending at the federal high court Abuja instituted by Hon Ben Nwankwo against Hon Chris Azubogu, the APGA candidate for Anambra the zone.
Chief Emma Nwachukwu is praying the court to disqualify both Hon Azubogu and Hon Ben Nwankwo and declare him the candidate of APGA for Anambra South Senatorial zone.
He alleged in his brief that while Hon Chris Azubogu did not resign properly from PDP before participating in the primary election of APGA, Hon Ben Nwankwo did not also resign as a BOT member of APGA.
Chief Nwachukwu who came 3rd told the court that Hon Ben Nwankwo is a member of APGA Board of Trustees, BOT and should have resigned from BOT before contesting for the party primaries. He then asked the court to disqualify both of them and declare him the candidate of the party for 2023 Anambra South Senatorial election.
