Your Developmental Strides Are Unprecedented – Okeke-Ogene Tells Ekwunife

As the 2021 Anambra gubernatorial election draws nearer, the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Lady Uche Ekwunife has continued to trump up support for herself through public engagements and sensitization programs in the state.

In company of the top echelons of her campaign organization, her recent point of call were at the residence of the National Vice Chairman, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Afam Okeke-Ogene at Nanka, Orumba North council area..

After her introduction to a mammoth crowd by the Chairman of her Campaign Organization, Chief Edwin Ubboh, the people-oriented Senator congratulated her host, Chief Ogene on his recent triumphant victory as the new National Vice President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, saying that it is a victory well deserved by the former President Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Anambra chapter. Senator Ekwunife told Chief Ogene that she also came to notify him of her quest to govern Anambra and presented the benefits of her aspiration to him and why the people and especially PDP should rally round her to better the lives of everyone in the State.

The Senator with the Midas Touch stated that she is the race to bring a desirable change in governance, saying that she has performed convincingly well as a lawmaker. She opined that Anambra as a state needs capable hands that will transform the Light of the Nation to her lost Glory.

Speaking further, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Science and Technology said that irrespective of zoning and other permutation formula that she is eminently qualified to mount the seat of Agu-Awka. She reteirated that she is poised to usher in a robust developmental change which she has exemplified as a Reps member and sitting Senator.

In his response, Chief Afam Okeke-Ogene said that he was and still very familiar with Senator Ekwunife and her capabilities. The newly elected National Vice Chair of Ohanaeze Ndigbo recalled the giant strides of the People’s Senator by facilitating and revalidating the work at Nanka erosion site when she was the Chairman, House Committee on Environment and believes in her ambition to change the state. The High-Chief pointed out that developmental the strides of the Senator reached Nanka despite not being from same Senatorial District. Chief Ogene thanked the ebullient Senator in her good works that spread across the nooks and crannies of Anambra Central Senatorial District.

He however, gave his blessings to Senator Ekwunife declaring that she has all the requisites skill to rekindle Anambra State to enviable heights having carved a niche as a legislator. The community Chief presented a gigantic Goat to the Amazon of the Senate as a gift of her developmental trajectories in Anambra.

On their separate remarks, the President General of Nanka Development Union, Chief Paul Chinedu, Chief Okey Enekwa and the chairman of Etim village, Nanka Chief Romanus Umeora showered enconiums on the workaholic Senator, saying that she has the experience and expertise to lead Anambra as the governor. They all said Senator Ekwunife is an amazon whose achievements reverberates across the state hence, the need for her emergence to usher in a new attitudinal change in the course of governance.

The Chairman, Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization, Chief Edwin Ubboh, Former Anambra Accountant General, Mrs Helen Nwaeri, Former ASUBEB Chairman, Dr Rose Nwankwo, Former Managing Director Anambra Physical Planning Board, Chief Victor Okpoko, CEO New Orleans Hotels, Mrs Ego Akabogu, Legislative Assistant to the Senator, Mrs Ify Chinwuko among others were part of the Senator’s entourage.
