Less Than Six Months In Office: Soludo Demolish Properties Worth Over N20b

As the ongoing demolition of illegal structures in Onitsha, and other parts of Anambra State, continues, some Anambrians, mostly affected landlords have been lamenting and recounting their losses.

The demolition, which began on July 2022, generated some controversies between the Pastor of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, also known as Odumeje, and some members of the Anambra State Task Force in charge of the exercise.

According to a Facebook user Obinna Tony Amaefuna, who took to his social media page to accuse Governor Soludo’s led administration of being complicit in the whole drama; stated that within six months in office, Gov Soludo has demolished houses and other belongings worth more than N20billion and threw the law-abiding Anambarians and homeowners in the streets.

“It Is Estimated That Gov. Soludo has Successfully Demolished More Than an N20billion Worth Of Properties Belonging To Anambarians Within Six Months Of His Administration.

“Most Of The Demolished Buildings Received Approval From The Past Administration And Gov Soludo Has Refused To Sanction These Corrupt Characters Who Issued These Rouge Permits, Instead, He has Started Reappointing Some Of Them Back Into His Own Cabinet.

“Indeed, Rochas Okorocha Was A Learner Compared To This.”
